Hi, I'm Tracie.
I'm a trauma therapist, veteran, tea drinker, and owner of a neurodivergent brain that occasionally has far too many tabs open at once.
I work with adults who are carrying a lot. Sometimes that's trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, attachment wounds, ADHD overwhelm, or just the feeling that life is harder than it looks from the outside.
You don't need to arrive with a perfectly organised timeline, a neat explanation, or a five-point plan. In fact, if your thoughts arrive in a tangled ball of wool, you're in good company.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand that not everybody thinks, feels, communicates, or processes the world in the same way. Therapy shouldn't be about forcing yourself into someone else's box. It's about finding what works for you.
Alongside trauma therapy, I offer ADHD coaching, Rewind Therapy and Single Session Therapy. Whether you're looking for longer-term support or help with one specific issue, we'll figure out what feels right together.
I'm not the therapist who sits there silently looking mysterious. I'm real, human, and engaged. I'll listen, support, challenge when needed, and occasionally laugh with you because sometimes humour is part of how we survive the difficult stuff.
I work from my home practice, online, and outdoors in nature. Some people think better while walking, some prefer a comfy chair and a brew, and some need the flexibility of online sessions. There isn't a right way—just your way.
Whether you're trying to make sense of the past, understand yourself a little better, navigate life with an ADHD brain, or finally put down some of the things you've been carrying for too long, you're welcome here.
A different way of doing therapy
I don’t think therapy has to look one way.
That’s why I offer sessions outdoors in parks and woodland, as well as face to face from my home and online.
Being in nature can take the pressure down a notch. There’s something about fresh air, movement, and not sitting under a bright office light that can make it easier to think, talk, or just… breathe a bit more.
Some people find it helps things feel less intense. Others just like that it gives their brain something to do while we talk (hello ADHD attention that works better with trees involved).
However we work together, we go at your pace.
In sessions, we’ll start to notice patterns, understand what’s been getting in t

“Need space to pause and make sense of things?”
Single Session Therapy is a focused, one-off session designed to help you explore a specific issue and take practical next steps.
It can be a helpful space when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or need clarity without committing to ongoing therapy straight away.
This is a focused therapy session rather than an emergency support service. If you are in immediate distress, please seek urgent support via your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services.
I aim to offer appointments within 24 hours where possible, so you can get support when you need it.
