About Me

Hi, I’m Tracie — a down-to-earth counsellor, army veteran, and neurodivergent human.

I’m a creative and integrative therapist who works outdoors in nature and online. My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in real life — not just theory.

For me, counselling is about one real human being meeting another. I don’t see you as a problem to be fixed — I see you as a whole person who deserves to be heard, understood, and supported as you find your own way forward.

Working Outdoors

For some people, sitting face-to-face can feel intense or uncomfortable. Walk-and-talk therapy offers a different way.

I offer sessions in local parks and woodland, where walking side by side can make it easier to open up. The rhythm of movement and the presence of nature can help ease anxiety, create space, and bring clarity.

Many people find that being outdoors allows conversations to flow more naturally, while also offering a sense of grounding and perspective.

My Approach

I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, attachment, ADHD, anxiety, addiction, and relationship challenges.

My background in the British Army, along with my lived experience of neurodivergence, means I understand the impact of high-stress environments, identity shifts, and invisible struggles.

I bring a down-to-earth, honest approach to therapy — with space for humour when it helps, and compassion when it’s needed most.

Whether you’re working through past trauma, adjusting to a diagnosis, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to shift, I’ll meet you where you are — and we’ll work together at your pace.

If this way of working feels like a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch.
